Come Join Us for the Ground Breaking of Bret Harte Bear's School Garden

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2010
8:30 a.m.. to  4:30 p.m.
Bret Harte Elementary School


Please wear your work clothes and come prepared to get dirty.  We will be building our fence and raised garden beds.  There is lots of work to be done on this garden in order to realize this dream for our children.  Every hand helps!!  Children are welcome. 

Rummage Sale

Saturday Oct. 2 starting at 7am.  Rent a table to sell your unwanted treasures!  Tables are $10 for PTA members, $20 for non-members.  (See Lynetta Hughes for details).  You can also just donated your unwanted items to be sold by the PTA.  We will also have a Book Faire at the Rummage Sale. 

Back to School Night

Wednesday Sept. 29 5:30-7pm Meet your student/s teacher and find out about opportunities for involvement in the classroom and beyond.  Look for the PTA membership table!  We will be selling NEW school SPIRIT T-shirts, celebrating the GRAND opening of our PARENT CENTER, having a BOOK FAIRE and sharing about exciting programs in the works. 

First PTA Meeting

Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 6-7pm we will hold our first General PTA Meeting of the year. The meeting will be in the Cafeteria.  It promises to be exciting and will offer many opportunities for involvement.  Mark your calendar and show your support.
